Suzanne Nora Johnson currently serves as chair of the Board of Directors of Intuit, Inc. (Chair of the Compensation Committee) and is a member of the Pfizer, Inc. Board of Directors (Chair of the Audit Committee). She has also served on the Boards of the American International Group, Inc. (2008-2020) and Visa Inc. (2007-2022). She has experience chairing Acquisition, Audit, Compensation, Nominating and Governance, and Risk Committees on public company boards.
Suzanne is former vice chairman of The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. She also served as chairman of the Global Markets Institute and was a member of the firm’s management committee. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Suzanne was an attorney with Simpson, Thacher & Bartlett and worked as a law clerk for the U.S. Court of Appeals.
She also serves on the boards of several nonprofit institutions, the Brookings Institution (Co-Chair), the Broad Foundation, the Carnegie Institution for Science (former Co-Chair), the Markle Foundation (Chair), and the University of Southern California (Chair). She is a member of the American Academy of the Arts and Sciences, the Council on Foreign Relations, and the Foreign Policy Association. Suzanne has also been a chair and member of various Global Agenda Councils for the World Economic Forum. She was a Henry Crown Fellow at the Aspen Institute.
Suzanne received her J.D. from Harvard Law School and her B.A. from the University of Southern California.
