As of latest THP publication:
Isabel Leigh was a senior research assistant at The Hamilton Project. Prior to joining The Hamilton Project, she graduated with a master’s degree in Economics from Georgetown University. Isabel further has experience from the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, where she was a senior research assistant in the Labor Markets section. Isabel is interested in economic research at the intersection of health, labor, and family decisionmaking. This is reflected in her senior thesis at Princeton University on the impact of the opioid epidemic on labor force participation, and further in her recent publication with Christopher Smith and Joshua Montes at the Federal Reserve: “Caregiving for children and parental labor force participation during the pandemic.”
